Saskatchewan Science Centre

Royal Saskatchewan Museum
The Earth Sciences Gallery depicts 3.5 billion years of geological/fossil history. The First Nations Gallery traces 10,000 years of aboriginal culture and the Life Sciences Gallery showcases Saskatchewan’s eco-regions.
Government House Museum and Heritage Property
Tour the restored 1891 magnificent mansion and the former residence of the Lieutenant Governor. Visit the J.E.N.Wiebe interpretive Centre that houses interactive exhibits and displays. Shop at Coquettes gift shop or relax in the lush greenery of the Sylvia Fedoruk Conservatory.
RCMP Heritage Centre
For the past 135 years, the RCMP has been an integral part of Canada’s historical and cultural landscape, helping to form and protect our great nation and playing a significant role in creating the Canadian identity. The RCMP Heritage Centre opened on May 23, 2007 to share the RCMP story with the world. Located on the grounds of the RCMP Academy, ‘Depot’ Division – the story of the RCMP is appropriately told where Cadets are trained and the story begins. Housed in a breathtaking stone, glass and concrete building designed by world-renowned architect Arthur Erickson, the RCMP Heritage Centre tells the story of the RCMP using state of the art exhibits, multimedia technologies and engaging programming and tours.
MacKenzie Art Gallery
Excellent collection of art from historical to contemporary works by Canadian, American and international artists. Major touring exhibits, Gallery Shop and 175 seat theatre. Tours available.
Regina Plains Museum
The museum reflects the political, cultural, social and economic development of Regina. Home to “the Glass Wheatfield” by Jacqueline Berting, an incredible sculpture of 14,000 individually crafted waist high wheat stalks. Also on display, Sherry Farrell Racette’s “Building Community Mural”.
Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame & Museum
Dedicated to preserving the history of sport in Saskatchewan. Displays include portraits and citations of inductees, sports memorabilia and artifacts.
Wascana Centre
Wascana Centre is a 930 hectare urban park located in the heart of Regina. This beautifully landscaped park surrounds a 120 hectare lake and is home to many species of flora and fauna. While visiting the park take a boat ride over to Willow Island and take a tour of the Saskatchewan Legislative Building.

Saskatchewan Provincial Parks
In less than an hour, visitors can leave Regina and arrive at any one of 4 Provincial Parks and Recreation Sites. If you have a bit more time, there are many other provincial parks within a half days drive from Regina. “Who says there’s no water in Saskatchewan?”
Casinos Regina & Moose Jaw
Visit Casino Regina in the historic train station or Casino Moose Jaw, which adjoins the Temple Gardens Mineral Spa Resort Hotel. Both casinos host a busy and diverse entertainment schedule in their show lounges.
Motherwell Homestead
Motherwell Homestead, a Parks Canada Historic Site, depicts the lifestyles, costumes, and architecture of the early 20th century. Costumed guides give you a glimpse of the life and career of pioneer farmer and politician, W.R. Motherwell, and his significant influence on the development of scientific agriculture in Western Canada.
Claybank Brick Factory
Nestled in the rolling hills of Southern Saskatchewan is the Claybank Brick Plant National Historic Site and Museum. The site offers guided tours of the brick making process from Clay to Kiln. This site is the best preserved example of late 19th century industrialism in North America. The site is virtually frozen in the 1912 – 1937 period and is still operable today.
Valley of the Legend
Just 45 minutes outside of Regina is a prairie oasis called the Qu’Appelle Valley. This is the area where Pauline Johnson based her poem The Legend of the Qu’Appelle Valley. This scenic drive takes you through several historic communities, alongside the meandering Qu’Appelle River and it’s quartet of lakes as well as through the rolling hills of the valley.
