This open air concert, held in the meadow behind the Mackenzie Art Gallery and the T.C. Douglas Building, is a wonderful way to spend a Sunday. Family activities, picnicking, pre-concert entertainment of up-and-coming Saskatchewan talent, and a full orchestral concert performed by the Regina Symphony Orchestra ending with fireworks.

Inspection of the troups followed by a march through the Parade Square. Held at the historic Depot Division of the RCMP. Visit the RCMP Museum and the Chapel at the same time.

The Royal Red – Canadian National Arabian Horse Show

Regina’s Exhibition Park comes alive with the pomp and pageantry of the Canadian National Arabian and Half-Arabian Horse Show which showcases the best of the breed from North America and beyond. This event stands alone as the only championship show offering a full range of competition with Canadian flair. The Festival Food Court featuring multicultural food, a variety of cultural entertainment, children’s events and the Dragon’s Lair Beer Gardens make this a great weekend for all ages. The Dragon Boat races, based on ancient Chinese myth and tradition, run non-stop from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Crossfiring: The Claybank Project Installation Exhibit

The Claybank Brick Plant will host an Installation Exhibit of national and international sound and visual artists in the magnificent brick firing kilns that surround the site and throughout the nearby hills. The Claybank Brick Plant National Historic Site is cradled in the hills of southern Saskatchewan about 40 minutes south of Regina and is a splendid example of late 19th century industrialism. The Claybank Brick Plant remains frozen in time, virtually unchanged from the day it opened in 1914.
