Aug 7, 10:14 PM: Byers Brings Home Gold

Kia Byers will be bringing home gold when she returns from the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro. Kia teamed up with Marie-Christine Schmidt of Lachine Quebec to win the women’s K-2 500 metre event. The win came just one day after she won a bronze medal as a member of the team who finished third in the women’s K-4 500 metre event.

WRCC would like to congratulate Kia for her accomplishments this season. We all look forward to having her home in Regina again!
