May 27, 10:59 AM: WRCC is Becoming Very "Official"

Congratulations to Cyndy Stricker and Chris Laplante who wrote and passed their written and oral exam for accreditation as Level IV Officials. This was an important step for Cyndy and Chris in becoming accreditated to officiate at competitive events such as the canadian championshiops and Canada Games.

Earlier in the month Floyd Fry and Bruce McLeod wrote and passed the highest level of officials training in the sport of sprint canoe/kayak. They both received accreditation as Level V or International Canoe Federation Officials. They are the first officials from the Prairie Division who have reached this level of certification.

WRCC would like to thank these four commited volunteers, as well as all other WRCC officials for their ongoing support of the sport of canoe/kayak. They all have given tremendously in many ways over the years and we appreciate their continued invovlement.
